Betty Jean Lewis

Betty Jean Lewis, 69, of Advance was born Feb. 14, 1938, at Gipsy, the daughter of the late William and Esther Gribler Gregory, and died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at the Advance Nursing Center.

Betty was a retired factory worker and believed in the General Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Meador of Advance; a daughter, Debbie Litton of Dexter; a brother, William Gregory of Flushing, Mich.; a sister, Dathel Kynion of Advance; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Ronnie Winchester officiating.

Interment will follow in the Berrong Cemetery in Gipsy.
