Ida Bell Terry

Ida Bell Terry, daughter of the late Walter Landers, Sr. and Daisy Young Landers, was born Dec. 9, 1928, at Kennett and died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 78.

On Jan. 5, 1949, she was united in marriage to Billy Gene Terry in Piggott, Ark., and he survives of the home.

She attended Pleasantview General Baptist Church in Risco.

Survivors include her husband Bill Terry of Risco; two sons, Randy (Tamra) Terry of Dexter and Anthony Philip Terry of Risco; one sister, Inez Bond of Risco; two brothers, J.R. Landers of Risco and Don Landers of Malden; two grandchildren, Dana (J.R.) Buchanan of Dexter and Matthew (Cassie) Terry of Puxico; and one great-grandchild, Cooper Buchanan of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Goode; and one brother, Hugh Landers.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until service time Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden with Rev. Mark Powell officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Pleasantview General Baptist Church at Risco; M.S., Diabetes Association; or Sadlers Chapel United Methodist Church in Dexter.
