Charles Kirkpatrick, son of the late C.M. Kirkpatrick and Vergie Stroup, was born on Aug. 5, 1948, at Sturdivant and died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at his home in Puxico.
On Feb. 15, 1969, he was united in marriage to Brenda Turner at Zalma who survives of the home. Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Renee Sturgen of Vienna, Ill.; four sisters, Deana Shrader of DeSoto, Barbara Slinkard of Jackson, Pat Cole of Cape Girardeau, and Sherren Gauer of St. Louis.
He had retired from Tyson Foods in Dexter as a maintenance man. He was a member of the Sturdivant Pentecostal Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Home in Puxico.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Dale Holman and Rev. Dale Wiseman officiating.
Interment will follow at Fagan Cemetery near Kinder.
