Mary Elizabeth Lambert

Mary Elizabeth Lambert, daughter of the late Charles and Dacie Ruth Hearl Baremore, was born at Leachville, Ark., on March 31, 1933, and died at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at the age of 74.

Mrs. Lambert had spent most of her life in the Bloomfield community and was retired from Elder Manufacturing Company. On Jan. 20, 1951, she was married to Bobby Ray Lambert. Mary was a precious and much loved wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ray Lambert of the home near Bloomfield; one daughter, Donna Ruth and husband Danny Nelson of Bloomfield; two sons, Michael Eugene and wife Teresa Lambert of Bloomfield and Jeffrey Keith and wife Kim Lambert of Malden; one sister, Dacie Charlene Fitts of Bloomfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Barnard Elmer and Dee Baremore of Kampsville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Shawn Robert Lambert and Eric Norden Lambert, both of Davenport, Iowa Teri Ladawn and husband Scott Northcutt of Dexter and Madison Elissa Lambert of Bloomfield; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Jadyn, and Courtney Northcutt of Dexter.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Mae White and Eveline Ruth Sanders; one son, Stanley Ray Lambert; and one granddaughter, Dacie Ruth Crowe.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Interment followed in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Pallbearers were Brian and Alan Baremore, Smokey and Andy Moore, Scott Northcutt and Clifford Hicks. Honoring the memory of Mary were her three nephews, Tom Sanders, Charles Fitts and James Elmer Fitts.
