Norman Richard Cruse, son of the late Charles A. and Verna Mae Miller Cruse, was born in Vanduser on Dec. 16, 1942, and died at his home in Bloomfield on Nov. 20, 2007, at the age of 64.

Mr. Cruse had lived all his life in Stoddard County. He was a retired farm hand and carpenter.

Surviving are one son, Donald Ray Cruse of Sikeston and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Jackie and Millard Cruse.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at the Dexter Cemetery with James Malloy of Essex officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
