Monica Edrena Cody, 21, of Clarkton, was born Aug. 26, 1986 in Kennett and died North of Clarkton on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was a graduate of Malden High School.

Surviving are two sons; Joseph Cody and Javarius Brown, mother and step-father; Elisa and Odell Wright of Malden, father and step-mother; Freddie and Vera Turner of Sikeston, eight sisters; Carin Cody, Pamela Cody and Cathy Cody of Malden, Jessica Morris of Rockford, Ill. and Freda Ivy, Nakeisha Turner, Makyla Turner and Makayla Turner all of Sikeston, two brothers; Aaron Cody of Malden and Freddie Turner Jr. of Sikeston, maternal grandfather; A.B. Cody of Osceola, Ark., paternal grandparents; Tarrence and Rose Robinson of Malden and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Flora Henderix.

Visitation will be held from noon till 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at the Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home with Elder James Fair officiating.

Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden with Bradshaw Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
