Mrs. Adams had lived in St. Louis before moving to Dexter in 1987. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary at Missouri Southern Healthcare and was of the Baptist faith. She had worked in real estate before she retired.
On Dec. 18, 1971, she was married to Marvin Adams in St. Louis.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin Adams of Dexter; one son, Clyde T. Schellenger of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Carolyn Poster of Dexter; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Sam Caruana of Englewood, Colo.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Chipp; and four brothers, Tony, Leroy, Joseph and Phillip Caruana.
There are no services scheduled.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later date.
