Edna Scott Manley, daughter of the late Arthur Scott and Harriet Bailey Scott, was born on Sept. 2, 1907, at Scott's Hill, Tenn., and died in the he Golden Living Center at Malden on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at the age of 100.

Mrs. Manley was a member of the Community of Christ at Bernie, a homemaker and a resident of rural Malden.

She was united in marriage to John Henry Manley on Aug. 22, 1927, at Blytheville, Ark. Mr. Manley preceded her in death on July 28, 1975.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Manley of Malden; one daughter, Rosemary Hess of California; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Scott Manley; three daughters, Geneva Manley, Opal Crawford and Ola Young; two brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Bill Embrey officiating.

Interment followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Blytheville, Ark.
