Nancy "Margaret" Baker Aslin

Nancy "Margaret" Baker Aslin, daughter of the late John Lee Baker and Margie Ireland Baker, was born on Aug. 21, 1922, at Clines Island and died on Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at 11 p.m. at the age of 85.

Mrs. Aslin was a member of the Second General Baptist Church of Dexter and was a resident of Bloomfield. She was a former teacher at Beech Grove and Gravel Hill Schools.

She was united in marriage to Essel L. Aslin and to this union one daughter, Elizabeth, was born. Mr. Aslin preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1989.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Lyndel Revelle; one granddaughter, Brittany Revelle; one sister, Wilma Dunnegan, all of Bloomfield; and one brother, Luther McCain of Waterford, Mich.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
