Blake Allen Burnett, son of Stan and Joy Jackson Burnett of Dexter, was born on Sept. 27, 1976, at Poplar Bluff and died at Dexter on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at the age of 31.

Mr. Burnett was a member of the Living Water Worship Center at Bloomfield, the owner of a Power-Washing Company in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Theresa Cockrell on Feb. 14, 2003, at Dexter. Mrs. Burnett survives of the home in Dexter.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Burnett of the home in Dexter; two sons, Austin Stacey and Houston Burnett, both of Dexter; two daughters, Hannah Smith and Celina Smith, both of Dexter; his parents, Stan and Joy Burnett of Dexter; and two brothers, Derek Burnett and Matt Burnett, both of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Genivea and Dennis Jackson and Audie and Boyd Burnett.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Hook officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
