Glenda 'Toots' Link

Glenda "Toots" Link, daughter the late Delias and Winnie McCollum Cartwright, was born at Bell City on Sept. 23, 1932, and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Jan. 7, 2008, at the age of 75.

Ms. Link had been a resident of rural Bloomfield and attended Union Grove Baptist Church near Bloomfield. She was first married to Hubert Hardin, and he preceded her in death in 1969. On Oct. 3, 1976, she was married to William Link.

Survivors include her husband, William Link of the home near Bloomfield; one stepson, William Link, Jr. of Dexter; one brother Loren 'Bo' Cartwright of Bloomfield; and one sister, Gail Stallion of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Jimmy Cartwright; and one sister, Elizabeth Cartwright.

Visitation will be held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
