Mr. Foushee was of the Baptist faith, owner of Foushee Dry Goods in Bloomfield, veteran of the United States Army, and a resident of Bloomfield.
On April 23, 1949, he was united in marriage to Cristola Cobb in Piggott, Ark. Mrs. Foushee survives of the home in Bloomfield.
Besides his wife, other survivors include one son, James Foushee of Bloomfield; one daughter, Brenda Kay Tilley of Scott City; one brother, Keith Foushee of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Katherine Foster of Mayfield, Ky.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.B. Foushee and Arthur Foushee, Jr.; two sisters, Maxine Pippins and Louise LaRue.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12-1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Jerry Pennington officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
