Lelah Medley
Lelah Medley, the daughter of the late Willie "Bill" and Bonnie Hicks Medley, was born in Poplar Bluff on July 2, 1956, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at the age of 51 after a short fight with cancer.

Miss Medley had lived in Poplar Bluff all of her life. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff where she enjoyed volunteering at numerous church activities.

Surviving are one brother, Richard Medley of Poplar Bluff; five sisters, Ruby Speer of Ft. Worth, Texas, Reba King and Clelah Bradley, all of Poplar Bluff, Penny Muniz of Barnhart and Lula McDonald of Baton Rouge, La.

Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 21,2008, from 5-8 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 22,2008, at 1 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Luther Abbott of Grandin officiating.

Interment followed in the Dudley Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
