Beula Frances McQuary

Beula Frances McQuary, daughter of the late Hiram Sumner McQuary and Lula Frances Broyles McQuary, was born on June 5, 1906, in Macon County and died at the St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre at the age of 101.

Beula was a former school teacher in DeSoto for 40 years, member of the St. Andrews Methodist Church in DeSoto, member of the Jefferson County Retired Teacher Association, P.E.O., Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and Order of the Eastern Star in DeSoto.

She is survived by one brother, Leslie McQuary of Tucson, Ariz.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Broyles McQuary and Millard McQuary; three sisters, Lena Kruse, Reca Hardy, and Emma Lou Jennings.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008.

Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Debbie Wilson and Dixie Jennings officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
