Laura Maria Richardson, daughter of the late Thomas Bares and Myrtle Josephine Wickbaum Bares, was born on Dec. 5, 1923, at West Heaven, Conn., and died in the Golden Living Center at Dexter on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at the age of 84.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of the Broadwater Church of the Brethren, a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Conrad Richardson on Feb. 24, 1956, at Hernando, Miss. Mr. Richardson preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1978,

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 10:30 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Gass officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
