Glen Huddleston, son of the late W. T. Huddleston and Oma Jordan Huddleston, was born on Jan. 23, 1933, at Bernie and died in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Jan. 26, 2008, at the age of 75.
Mr. Huddleston was a member of the Kime General Baptist Church at Greenville, a farmer, a former plant operator for Monsanto Chemical at Hunterville, an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, and a resident of Greenville, formerly of Grayridge.
He was united in marriage to Freeda Parrish on Sept. 10, 1952 at New Madrid. Mrs. Huddleston survives of the home in Greenville.
Besides his wife, Freeda Huddleston, survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ed Huddleston and Cresta of Bloomfield; one daughter, Donna Huddleston of Kansas City; two sisters, Willeadean Haynes of Essex and Dorsey McGuirt of Warm Springs, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Zane Huddleston and Creylee Huddleston.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Denzil Huddleston.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2008.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Burchard officiating.
Interment followed in the Essex Cemetery.
