Pamela Weber Turlington

Pamela Weber Turlington, daughter of the late Captain Edmund Weber and Mae Weber Lynch, was born Jan. 17, 1942, at Dexter and died in the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2008, at the age of 66.

Mrs. Turlington was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, a former first grade teacher in the Kenneth Public School District for 33 years, a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a former resident of Kennett and resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Terry Turlington on April 14, 1963, at Dexter. Mr. Turlington survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Scott Turlington and Kris of Mexico and Michael Todd Turlington and Shelly of Jackson; four grandchildren, Kali Turlington, Sidney Turlington, Ryan Michael Turlington, and Katie Christian; and one sister, Edwina Mae Prinster of Auxvasse.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Michael "Mick" Lynch.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in the First Baptist Church at Dexter with Dr. Curtis Porter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
