Bud was a lifelong resident of Stoddard County and was a resident of rural Bloomfield at the time of his death. He served as a road boss for Pike Township Road District for 30 years and was also a farmer. On Feb. 18, 1964, he was married to Edna Sides.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Scheible of the home in Bloomfield; one son, Buddy Scheible of Bloomfield; two daughters, Teresa Kight of Bell City and Lisa Maddox of Bell City; three brothers, Donnie Mace of Advance, Billy Scheible of Memphis, Tenn., and Gary Mace of Bell City; three sisters, Kathy Brinkman of High Ridge, Karen Davidson of Haughton, La., and Joann Maddox of Bell City; and five grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lively and one sister, Betty Dowler.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arvil Croy officiating.
Interment followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
