Tayna Renee Robinson, daughter of Norma Jean Cooper King of Dexter and the late Rev. Therman Lee King, was born on June 5, 1974, at Cape Girardeau and died in the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at the age of 33.

Tayna was a member of the Morehouse Baptist Church, attended the Lighthouse Christian Center at Dexter, was a healthcare provider, a homemaker, a graduate of Dexter Senior High School, and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Billy Walpole, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2004. She was then married to David Robinson on Dec. 23, 2006, at Dexter. David survives of the home in Dexter.

Survivors include her husband, David Robinson of the home in Dexter; her mother, Norma Jean Cooper of Dexter; two brothers, Dennis King of Fisk and Randy King of Bloomfield; eight sisters, Betty Metcalf of Bloomfield, Bonnie Fran Lockhart of Cape Girardeau, Cathy O'Neal of Prairieville, La., Connie Hattaway of Alexandria, La., Regina Mick and Robyn Berry, both of Dexter, Becky Maddox of Clarkton, and Rhonda Cooper of Springfield; 25 nieces and nephews; 17 great-nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Gary L. Cooper officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
