Karla Nanette Baker, 52, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at her home in Fort Smith, Ark.

She was a paralegal for Smith, Maurras, Cohen, Reed and Horan Law Firm and a Presbyterian.

She was preceded in death by her father, George F. Baker.

Survivors include her mother, Venita Baker of Bules, Texas; her grandmother, Grace Peters of Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Greg Baker and his wife, Beth, of Dexter; a niece, Madisson Baker; and a nephew, Will Baker, both of Dexter.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.

The family will visit with friends after the memorial service on Friday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home, 4500 Jenny Lind Rd., Fort Smith, Ark. 72901.
