Gladys S. Cox

Gladys S. Cox, daughter of the late Hans Hanson and Emma Olson Hanson, was born on Jan. 20, 1913, at Roth, N.D., and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at the age of 95.

Mrs. Cox was a member of the Turtle Mountain Lutheran Church in Bottineau, N.D., a former waitress and a resident of Dexter.

She was first united in marriage to Paul Evans. She was then married to Dorcie Cox on Oct. 1, 1963, at Poplar Bluff. Mr. Cox preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1987.

Besides her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Delores Mae Hanson; two brothers, Arnholt Hanson and Hjalmar Hanson; and two sisters, Victoria Aker and Alpha Hanson.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will then be conducted at noon Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Louis Lowe officiating.

Interment will follow in the Turtle Mountain Lutheran Cemetery at Bottineau, N.D., at a later date.
