Kevin Gene Hunt, son of Arthur Butch Hunt and Connie Jerls Hunt of Bernie, was born Nov. 25, 1974, at Dexter and died near Bernie Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at the age of 33.

Mr. Hunt was an employee of Rowland Farms and a resident of Bernie.

He is survived by one son, Dalton Hunt of Wappapello; one daughter, Maizie Hunt of Bernie; his parents, Butch and Connie Hunt of Bernie; one sister, Belynda Hunt of Bloomfield; and two brothers, Arthur "Skipper" Hunt and Charles Hunt, both of Bernie.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Ray Rowland officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
