He is survived by two sons, Bobby Gene and William Eugene Shaw of St. Louis; three daughters, Sue Hill of Wappapello, Anita Wade of Advance, and Tammy Strubberg of Gerald; a step-daughter, Jeanette Stanfill of Fredericktown; five sisters, Lillian Bailey of Wichita, Kan., Ruth Western of Sikeston, Edna Fox of Belleville, Ill., Bernice Harris of Sikeston, and Martha Curtis of Oran; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchldren. He was preceded in death by one brother, William J. Shaw; and two sisters, Pauline Armstrong and Louise Trousdale.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Masonic rites will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in the Nunnelee Chapel by the Sikeston Lodge.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, in the Nunnelee Chapel with Rev. Kelley Grubbs of the Murray Lane Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, and the pallbearers will be Ron Hill, Billy Shaw, Daryl Wade, Michael Wade, Billy Hopper, and Robby Grimes.
