Mrs. Beaird had lived most of her life in Parma before moving to Portageville. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Parma. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
In 1940, she was married to Glendle G. Beaird.
Surviving are her husband Glendle G. Beaird; two brothers, Delbert J. Garland of Malden and Thelbert R. Garland of Texas; one sister, Fay Carter of Paducah, Kent. and many other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; Paul Garland, Kenneth Garland, Joe Garland and Delmar Garland, and one sister, Adell Lanier.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma with Rev. Dean Medlin of Parma officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
