Ivalene Lucille Wright, the daughter of the late George Albert and Molly Bertha Thompson Collier, was born in Brilliant, Ala., on March 2, 1934, and died at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the age of 73.

Mrs. Wright had lived most of her life in Malden and Dexter and had made her home in Scott City the past several years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter.

In 1996 she was married to Marion Wright.

Surviving are her husband, Marion Wright of Cape Girardeau; and one brother, Mark Collier of Florence, Ala.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harlen Collier, Marvin Collier, Bud Collier and Dale Collier; and one sister, Mamie Buhl.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, in the Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.

Interment will follow at a later date in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
