Sheila Kay Mims

Sheila Kay Mims, 45, of Dexter died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter. She was born Dec. 19, 1962, to Wilma Cullum of Dexter and the late James Cullum.

On Oct. 14, 1981, she was united in marriage to Edward Mims.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Mims of the home; her mother, Wilma Cullum of Dexter; three daughters, Jessica Harris of Dexter, LaTosha Robin Mims Henry of Dexter, and Heather Cullum of Dexter; one son, Joshua Mims of the home; two sisters, Julia Stroup of Bloomfield and Michelle Williams of Marble Hill; one brother, Richard Cullum of Bloomfield; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Tabatha Mims; and one sister, Christina Cullum.

Visitation was held after 12 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at their home in Dexter, and the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008.

Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Essex.
