Imogene Watson, 72, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1936, at Malden, the daughter of the late Charlie Hampton and Vinie Vincent Hampton.

She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her husband, J.C. Watson of Bloomfield; four daughters, Brenda Nelson, Judy Fernandez and Lee Ann Hastings, all of Malden, and Rhonda Barnes of Dexter; one son, J.E. Watson of Bernie; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Terrell, Rose Mary Kean, Maxine Strong and Helen Rice; three brothers, Eugene Hampton, Junior Hampton and Doyle Hampton.

Visitation will be held after 12 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Rosewood Cemetery in Malden with Rev. Roger Fowler officiating.

Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery.
