Kenneth Joseph Bueter, 64, of Advance died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 15, 1943, in Blomeyer, son of Joseph and Nora DeBrock Bueter. He and Ernestine Kluesner were married Sept. 12, 1964, in Oran.
Bueter retired in January from Spartech Plastics Co. after 41 1/2 years in the maintenance department. He also farmed. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon and the Knights of Columbus in Advance.
He served in the National Guard for six years.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Bueter; his mother, Nora Bueter of Leopold; a son, Dale Bueter of Advance; two daughters, Rhonda Horrell of Marble Hill and Diane Chapman of Chaffee; four brothers, Norbert Bueter of House Springs, Michael and Richard Bueter of Marble Hill, and Anthony Bueter of Leopold; four sisters, Carolyn Friedhoff of St. Louis, Audrey Nenninger and Darlene Stoverink of Leopold, and Norma Nenninger of Marble Hill; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon with the Revs. John Harth and Bill Huggins officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Church Cemetery.
