Roland Walter Dube, 67, of Columbia, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Flannigan officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at Parker Funeral Service. A second memorial service conducted by Dr. Mert Cooper will be held at Sadler's Chapel in Dexter at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008.
Interment will follow in Bloomfield State Veterans Cemetery.
Roland was born Aug. 15, 1940, in Gardner, Mass., to Adrien and Lauretta Plourde Dube. He married Carolyn Walker on July 1, 1966, in St. Louis and she survives. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 23 years of service.
Roland was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Flood Assembly 0583.
Survivors include his wife, of Columbia; a son, Matthew Dube of Swansea, Ill.; two daughters, Julie Daniels of Knoxville, Tenn., and Stacy Cates of Cabot, Ark.; a brother, Leo Dube of East Templeton, Mass.; two sisters, Alice Zablonski of Gardner, Mass., and Lorraine Murdock of Barre, Mass.; and five grandchildren;
