Joanie Elaine Clark, the daughter of the late Donald and Mary Lois Payne Morris, was born in St. Louis on Jan. 24, 1961, and died at Golden Living Center in Dexter on Friday, March 28, 2008, at the age of 47.

Mrs. Clark had lived in St. Louis and moved to Dexter in 1994. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are one son, Terry Clark of Dexter; two brothers, Michael and Don Morris, both of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rochelle Clark; and one brother, Ronald Morris.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Pastor Scott Sutton of Sikeston officiating.

Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
