Clara Lee Garland McMillian of Malden died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the St. John's Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 77.

Mrs. McMillian was born November 9, 1930 to Leo and Melvina Ray Kincade. Mrs. McMillian was married to Delmar Garland on November 9, 1949 in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2004. She then married Bill McMillian in June 2005.

Mrs. McMillian was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Malden.

Survivors include her husband Bill McMillian of Malden; two sons, Keith Garland and wife Susie of Clinton, Miss. and Jim Garland of Springfield; two daughters, Teresa Chalk and husband Johnny of Portageville, Sandra Crews and husband, Doyle of Springfield; four grandchildren, Bob Chalk and wife, Amy of Portageville, Melanie Davenport and husband, John of Springfield, and Jennifer Garland of Dexter, Matthew Garland of XLinton, Miss.; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Sullivan of Portageville and Carter James Davenport of Springfield; three sisters, Clarice Gregory of Bernie, Charlotte Schrader of Malden, and Velta Snipes of Sikeston; two brothers, Tommy Kincade of Republic and Mike Kincade of Cortez, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Delmar Garland, two brothers; Vernon Kincade and Bud Kincade and one sister; Opal Ennis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Re. David Wigger and Rev. Jonathan Rice officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
