Thelma Marie Foutch, daughter of the late Ernest Ogelvie and Ruth Ross Ogelvie, was born on Dec. 9, 1935, at Bernie and died in the St. Joseph Medical Center at St. Charles on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the age of 72.
Mrs. Foutch was a member of Sugar Tree Church near Bernie, a resident of St. Charles, formerly of Dexter and a homemaker.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Foutch on Aug. 9, 1956, at Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. Foutch preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Elledge of St. Charles; one son, Dwight Nunn of Bellingham, Wash.; one step-son, Edward Foutch of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Ralph Ogelvie and Thomas Ogelvie, both of Dexter, Charles Ogelvie of Bloomfield and Bobby Hausmann of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Betty Kreiger of Troy, N.Y., Linda Vetter of Carrollton, Ill., and Mary Lee of Hardin, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Tate.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Ogelvie officiating.
Interment will be conducted at a later date at the Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes, Ill.
