Clara Faye Atchison, daughter of Laura Mason of Bernie and the late Delmar Mason, was born on May 29, 1954, at Dexter and died in her residence at rural Malden on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the age of 53.

Mrs. Atchison was a certified med. tech. for Central Gardens at Dexter, a former beautician and a resident of rural Malden.

She was united in marriage to Danny Atchison on July 23, 1973, at Bernie. Mr. Atchison survives of the home near Malden.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Laura Mason of Bernie; and one sister, Mary Mekan of Bernie.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Mason.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Clifton Trentham officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
