Pauline Dunn, daughter of the late Orace Allen and Valerie Overby Allen, was born on Aug. 31, 1933, at Lamar, Ark., and died in the Barnes Rehabilitation Institute at St. Louis on Friday, April 4, 2008, at the age of 74.

Mrs. Dunn was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ, an in-home caregiver with V.N.A. of Dexter and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Velton Dunn on Jan. 29, 1952, at Pontiac, Mich. Mr. Dunn preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1969.

Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Koechner of Advance; one son, Roger Dunn of Fairdealing; two brothers, Charles Allen of Piggott, Ark., and Wilburn Allen of Bernie; one sister, Nadine McCormick of St. Charles, Ill.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Alan Dunn.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Stan Dauck officiating.

Interment followed at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Sunset Hills Cemetery at Harrisburg, Ill.
