BLOOMFIELD -- A second Dexter man has been arrested and faces pornography charges, according to the Dexter Police Department.

Donnie Lee Vaughn, 26, of Dexter has been charged with the Class A misdemeanor of furnishing pornagraphic materials to minors. He was arrested Monday at the Dexter Police Department after he was questioned and allegedly admitted to the charges.

According to Det. Sgt. Corey Mills' report, on Thursday, April 4, he was contacted at police headquarters by a Dexter woman whose 14-year-old granddaughter had received a pornographic text message on her cell phone that was allegedly sent by Vaughn, the victim's boyfriend according to the complainant.

"The video consists of three animated cartoon characters (Bugs Bunny, Porky Pigg and Jessica Rabbit from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit) engaged in explicit sexual contact," said Mills' report. "I spoke with [the victim] an she admitted 'Donnie Vaughn sent her the video described above and advised that she had deleted the video text message from her phone.'"

At that time, Mills took the victim's phone into custody as evidence. He then stated that on Monday he interviewed Vaughn at police headquarters.

"Donnie admitted he sent [the victim] a video text message of three animated cartoon characters engaged in explicit sexual contact," Mills reported. "I showed Vaughn pictures of the video text message I had taken and Vaughn advised it was the same video he sent [the victim.]

Vaughn is currently being held in the Stoddard County Justice Center on a $25,000 cash bond. The range of punishment for a Class A misdemeanor is a term of not more than one year in the county jail, a fine of not more than $1,000 or a combination of fine and imprisonment.

How come the grandparents are not ALSO facing charges of letting their 14 year old grand daughter date a 26 year old man? They have to be contributing to corrupting a minor as the man who is dating her and providing her pornographic materials.

Sorry, forgot a word: They have to be contributing as much to corrupting a minor as the man who is dating her and providing her pornographic materials.

I would like for the reporters who put this article on the front page of their news papers to try and get their stories straight ! This story is not quite true ! I am the grandmother of this child and I do not allow my grandchildren to date a 26 year old when they are only 14 years old. I hope that these news papers that reported this story know how upsetting it is to go on the internet and find this story online! Much less go to the store pick up the news paper and find out that the story is right on the front page! This has been a Shock to say the least and very hurtful to think that someone could print this story about myself and my grandaughter. It just goes to show all of you readers that you can not always believe what you read!

I would just like to say that this newspaper made a huge mistake. the 14 year old victim was not dating this man. I happen to know the family very well, and unfortuanatey I know the offender as well. The gradparents of the girl would never allow her to date anyone that wasnt her own age! the newspapers should get their stories right before they print stuff like this. did they ever consider possibly contacting the family first? NO probably not because they dont care, as long as they get their story in by the deadline. but its stupid mistakes like this that get good people like the victims family in a world of crap! I belive that they should reprint the story with an apology to the family for the mistake.

I am glad to hear that you are not allowing your granddaughter to date a 26 year old man. Thank you for proving me wrong. I wish others who do let their young girls date these men 10 years older realize what true damage they are allowing to happen to these young girls....I see it every single day and it makes me very sad.

How does this child know this man well enough that he would be sending her text
