Richard Snider

Richard Wayne Snider, 61, of Crooked River Ranch, Ore., died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Snider was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Dexter. He was an artist, a painter, a sculptor and wood carver. He also sang and played guitar.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Snider of Crooked River Ranch, Ore.; his father, Loyd Snider of Bloomfield; one daughter, Jenna Hubbard of Poplar Bluff; one son, Josh Snider of Oregon; two step-daughters, Roxanna Kerner and Deanna Roberts of Oregon; one step-son, Skip Coiner of California; two sisters, Shirley Furness of Newberg, Ore., and Beverly Patterson of Bloomfield; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted in Redmond, Ore., on April 13, 2008.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
