Sikeston's experience and team depth overwhelmed Dexter Wednesday in high school tennis action as the Bullodgs soundly defeated the Bearcats, 8-0.

Dexter tennis coach Dennis Keith was missing some players for various reason and had to move up some junior varsity players to fill out the varsity roster.

" I saw some improvement in the players even though in most instances the final score did not reflect that improvement," Keith said. "Sikeston is the best team we play from top to bottom. They are loaded with seniors that have a lot of experience.

"Many of our younger players will need to step up and get a lot playing time in this summer if they want to improve," he added. "They have the potential to be a solid team for the next couple of years."

Dexter will face Sikeston again in its next match Tuesday at Sikeston.
