Breman Montgomery, representing the Montgomery Foundation, was on hand at Dexter High School this week to present the 2008 Arvella Totten Scholarship to graduating senior Shelsea Tippen. Also on hand was the school counselor, Judy Patterson, at right. The scholarship, which is financed through the Montgomery Foundation, is a $2,000 award and is presented to a DHS college-bound grad annually. Tippen will attend Missouri State University in the fall where she intends to major in Physical Therapy. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Van and Dawn Watkins.
