Margaret Carrie Waters

Margaret Carrie Waters, daughter of the late Marion and Margaret Grace Cartwright Lattimore, was born in Kansas City on March 14, 1938 and died at her residence in Parma on April 26, 2008 at the age of 70.

Mrs. Waters was an employee of Beverly Nursing Center for over twenty years and had attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Grayridge.

Mrs. Waters was united in marriage to Artlee Waters, Sr., on February 14, 1958 in Kennett. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2002. Her brother, Allen Lattimore, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include eight sons: Freddie Lattimore and Larry Waters of St. Louis, Kenneth Waters of Cape Girardeau, John Waters of Essex, Artlee Waters, Jr., Leroy Waters, Robert Waters, Ray Waters, Sr., all of Parma; one daughter, Sylvia Randle of Sikeston; one brother, Johnny Lattimore of Kansas City; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron. Rev. Leroy Williams will be officiating. Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
