Elizabeth Ann Wood

Elizabeth Ann Wood, daughter of the late Earl Wood and Hilda Cleo Malin Wood, was born on July 7, 1944 at Flint, Mich. and died at her residence in Dexter on April 27, 2008 at the age of 63.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, had attended Bethany General Baptist Church near Bernie, was a former L.P.N. in Dexter, Blooomfield and Bernie and was a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by one son, Kent W. Mekan of Bernie; by one daughter, Lisa Silvey of Scott City; by three sisters, Donna Young of Dexter, Betty Lindley of Eureka, and Barb Spitzer of Bernie; by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 10 a.m. - noon, Thursday, May 1, 2008.

Funeral services will then be conducted at noon, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.
