She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she drove the church bus, ran the sound booth and volunteered at church camp, was a former owner/operator of a daycare and was a resident of Dexter.
She is survived by two daughters, Elise Swearingen of Providence, R.I. and Amy Swearingen of Kansas City; by her father and step-mother, Richard and Bonnie Haga of Dexter; by three brothers, Chuck Haga, Mike Haga and Steve Haga all of Poplar Bluff; by two sisters, Shelley Haga and Karen Haga, both of Poplar Bluff.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008 in the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating.
