Holly Haga Swearingen, daughter of Richard Haga of Dexter and the late Mary Drescher, was born October 27, 1954 in Brookfield and died at her residence in Dexter on April 29, 2008 at the age of 53.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she drove the church bus, ran the sound booth and volunteered at church camp, was a former owner/operator of a daycare and was a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by two daughters, Elise Swearingen of Providence, R.I. and Amy Swearingen of Kansas City; by her father and step-mother, Richard and Bonnie Haga of Dexter; by three brothers, Chuck Haga, Mike Haga and Steve Haga all of Poplar Bluff; by two sisters, Shelley Haga and Karen Haga, both of Poplar Bluff.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008 in the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating.
