Genevieve Williams, daughter of the late Hobart and Esther Crews Campbell, was born on April 3, 1922, in Puxico and died on May 10, 2008, at the Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter at the age of 86.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church, Missionaries Society, Aid Extension Club and the Missouri Southern Healthcare Hospital Auxiliary.
On Dec. 16, 1939. she was united in marriage to Ray Williams at Puxico. Mr. Williams preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1978.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Williams and Bradley Williams both of Aid and Michael Williams of Bloomfield; one daughter, Karen Walker of Puxico; one brother, Herman Campbell of Puxico; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Truman Campbell and Hobart "Buckey" Campbell Jr.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Interment followed at the Harper Cemetery in Aid with Rev. Phil Warren officiating.
