Mr. Jackson was a member of the Church On The Rock near Sikeston, a former truck driver for Atlas Carriers in Searcy, Ark., a veteran of the United States Army, and a resident of Parma.
He is survived by one daughter, Jill Jackson of New Jersey; his mother and step-father, Arletha and Robert Tilson of Parma; three brothers, Otis Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Larry Williamson of Memphis, Tenn., and George Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Maudessa Rose of Parma and Ruby Logan of Newton, Miss.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Williamson.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Curtis True officiating.
Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
