Chosen as salutatorian with a 4.2296 grade point average was Amanda Dooley. She is the daughter of Roy and Leanne Dooley.

She was also in the top 10 percent of her class for the past four years, was in the Dexter Honor Society, was a Missouri Girls State Delegate in 2007 and is a Southeast Missouri University Governor's Scholar. She was also awarded the Language Arts Award and was active in Bright Flight.

While attending Dexter High School, Dooley was a member of the varsity tennis and softball teams for four years and a member of the varsity basketball team for three years.

Congrats to both of you! I worked with Amanda's dad, Roy "Doc" Dooley for several years with when I worked with the USDA at Tyson. He and his wife must be so very proud of their daughter's achievements!
