She was a loving, kind and giving person that always had a smile on her face. She was a former truck driver and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda James of Essex; one son, Tyler Andrew Dodson of Texas; two brothers, Donnie Crowden of Benton and Cliff Crowden of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Beverly Crowden of Cape Girardeau and Kristi Petty of Essex; and her maternal grandmother, Gertrude Cochran of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Crowden; her maternal grandfather, Joseph Pete Cochran; her paternal grandparents, Henry E. and Edna Crowden; and her stepfather, John Frank James.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Pastor Rick Breeden officiating.
