Pansy Miller

Pansy E. Miller, daughter of the late George W. Riddle and Leora E. Davis Riddle was born on October 23, 1904 near Bernie and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Friday, May 23, 2008 at the age of 103.

Mrs. Miller was of the Baptist Faith, a homemaker and caregiver, enjoyed gardening and was a resident of Bernie,

She was united in marriage to Walter L. Miller on March 31, 1923 at Dexter. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on August 3, 1952.

Survivors include one son, Dacey L. Miller of Springfield; by two daughters: Margery E. Becking and Patricia O. Rushing, both of Bernie; by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and thirty-nine great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dawsey E. Miller; by one daughter, Vada E. McClard; by one grandson, Marvin McClard; and by one brother, Dawsey Riddle.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

Funeral services were then conducted at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Bill Garrett officiating.

Interment followed in the Smith-Stevenson Cemetery near Bernie.
