Carolyn Edwards

Carolyn Edwards, daughter of Thelma Almond Underwood of Puxico and the late Carl "Cob" Underwood was born on March 4, 1947 at Bloomfield and died in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Giradeau on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the age of 61.

She was a member of the Puxico Egypt Church, a former salesman for Chrisman Art Gallery in Dexter, a former resident of Dexter and a current resident of Puxico.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Greg Harty of Puxico; by two grandchildren, Halie Harty and Zeki Harty both of Puxico; and by her mother, Thelma Almond Underwood of Puxico.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

Funeral services were conducted at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Burchett officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
