Mr. Graves was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, a former salesman for Sisler Hardware and Price Furniture, both in Dexter, and was a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Georgia Ann York on October 24, 1950 at Blytheville, Ark. Mrs. Graves survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, James Terry Graves and wife Liz of Dexter, Randy Lee Graves and wife Diane of Dexter; one granddaughter, Laura Kaylor; two great grandchildren, Allison Kaylor and Logan Kaylor.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Graves; one sister, Lena Lind.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating with Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
