Jefrey James Hays

Jefrey James Hays, son of the late James M. Hays and Ruby Abner Blackwelder Hays was born on June 5, 1959 at Sikeston and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the age of 48.

Mr. Hays was a former laborer for a lawn landscaping firm in Sikeston, a resident of Dexter, and formerly of Scott County.

He is survived by his companion, Jan Duty of Dexter; one daughter, Jeannie Hays of Morley; and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home with the Rev. Louis Lowe officiating.
