Mr. Curd had lived in Dexter most all his life before moving to Bloomfield eight years ago. He was a retired auctioneer owning several businesses over the years. He was of the Baptist faith.
On July 13, 1963, he was married to Della M. Keele in Poplar Bluff.
Surviving are his wife, Della M. Curd of Bloomfield; one son, Tommy Shane Curd of Bloomfield; one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Dolan of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Tommy Lee and Jared Allen Curd of Bloomfield who were raised by Tom and Della and four additional grandchildren; and one sister, Martha Stone of Morehouse.
He was preceded in death by one son, Tony Lee Curd; five sisters; and five brothers.
A celebration of the life of James "Tom" Curd will be at a later date.
